Paul Gladysz, AIA, NCARB

A Principal of BDA Architecture, Paul has over 30 years’ experience in design and managing of animal care facilities. Involved in over 300 animal health care projects, including 20 award-winning projects, he specializes in veterinary specialty, referral and critical care centers and animal boarding.

An expert in animal care architecture, Paul has completed projects in almost every region of the country and abroad. He has contributed articles to veterinary publications and published articles on the use of new construction materials and methods.

Paul is also a founding partner of CMP, Inc., a construction and equipment integration company dedicated exclusively to animal care facilities.

Dave Gasser, AIA, NCARB, Architect, Partner

Dave Gasser, AIA, NCARB

Since joining BDA Architecture in 1999, Dave has specialized his architectural degree in the design of animal care facilities. Over the past twenty-five years, he has completed over 100 animal care facilities all over the United States, Canada and abroad. His projects include veterinary hospitals, animal adoption shelters, equine and mixed animal practices, and university veterinary school facilities.

As an expert in animal care architecture, Dave speaks at major veterinary conferences in the United States and has written articles for veterinary publications.

Colin Campbell, AIA, NCARB, ICC, Architect, Partner

Colin Campbell, AIA, NCARB, ICC

Colin has been a part of BDA since 2002, and has designed veterinary hospitals and animal care projects throughout the country. With facilities ranging in size from 1,200 square feet to 56,000 square feet, he has become an expert in animal care architecture projects large and small.

Over the years Colin’s work has included veterinary general practice hospitals, referral and specialty centers, and veterinary emergency facilities, with a number of these receiving veterinary hospital design awards. Colin is also experienced in veterinary university projects, animal shelters and working dog facilities.

Becky Gasser, NCARB, Director of Design, Partner

Becky Gasser, NCARB

Becky joined the BDA team in 2010 after earning her degree in Architecture from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. Driven by a deep love for animals and a passion for thoughtful design, she found her calling in the specialized field of animal care facility planning and construction. As BDA’s Director of Design, Becky has led projects across the United States, including veterinary hospitals, pet resorts, animal shelters, and guide dog training centers.

Her expertise includes floor plan development, 3D modeling and rendering, exterior and interior design, and the careful selection of materials that prioritize animal well-being.

As a Fear Free Certified Professional, Becky is committed to creating environments that promote calm, comfort, and confidence for both animals and the people who care for them. She regularly shares her specialized expertise through articles and by speaking at veterinary conferences.
