CAD/BIM Coordinator

Job Type – Full time, full benefits. $60,000 - $75,000

Job Description:

We are BDA Architecture, an award-winning architectural firm that specializes exclusively in the design and construction of animal care facilities across the country and internationally. Our project types include everything animal care related. veterinary hospitals, animal shelters and rescue centers, service animal training centers, zoo health care, and university schools of veterinary medicine. We are looking for a likeminded experienced BIM/CAD expert to join our team in Albuquerque, NM.

Position Details:

This position is for a full time (+full benefits) CAD/BIM coordinator who can work proficiently in Revit and AutoCAD Architecture. This person provides management in the deployment and implementation of modeling standards, the creation of blocks and families, and assist firm leadership in the evolution of office technology. This position ensures our teams are meeting client needs while conforming to industry best practices, while providing mentorship and guidance to those utilizing these tools. They will also provide BIM content creation and advancing the completion of project documents. Candidates should also be self-motivated, flexible, organized, good at multi-tasking and capable of taking instruction, learning and adapting.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience in a similar position, 5+ years total work experience
  • Associates degree or equivalent in Architectural Technology or related major
  • Experience and proficient skills in Revit/AutoCAD are required, experience with BlueBeam highly desired
  • 3D computer program skills in Sketchup, and Lumion are a plus
  • Strong proficiency in building science and how components are properly detailed
  • Ability to produce Schematic and Construction Document level drawings
  • Ability to review and coordinate and integrate building and site engineering systems documents
  • Strong sense of graphic presentation and design
  • Current USA work authorization
